Water based liquid Copper solution developed for decorative purpose on steel, aluminum dicasts, as well as cement plasters, plastic or wood. This coating will also accept different antiquing and patina colors to achieve an Antique brown, Antique black, Patina green, Patina blue green or Rusty color. It is also used for decorative purposes with a coverage of 100 to 150 sq. ft. per gallon used.
Method of Patination:
- Preparation: Before working with our products, make sure that the parts are cleaned (with cleaner 104) then apply the surface with Triple-s Primer, which can be used in most surfaces such as; cement, plaster, fiber glass, masonry, plastic, ceramics or wood. Remember that when working with metals like Iron, Aluminum, Tin, or Galvanized Steel you should use a rust inhibited primer. In case of working with Solid Copper, Brass or Bronze; make sure that the surface is free of dirt, grease etc...We recommend that you use cleaner 104 and then apply the patina on it.

- Applying metallic coatings: Copper, Brass or Bronze metallic coatings are to be applied with primer. Allow the metallic coating to dry for at least 1 or 2 hours; then apply a second topcoat of Copper, Brass or Bronze metallic coatings and wait 2 to 6 minutes until it becomes tack (sticky) but not dry.

- Applying the patina: next, apply Patina Green Verde 444 or Blue Green Verde #11over the part with a brush or spray. During the next 15 minutes, you will see that a patina finish will starts to develop. If you need a darker patina, you will have to apply additional layers of patinas.

- Seal the parts: The parts should be sealed after you achieve the desired color with Clear Sealer WSL-55, which will protect the color after it dries.
